TESTIMONIALS

From our August Donation we had this from Luke, Nina & Duncan

A while ago we were very lucky to be nominated to receive £501 that we were short of to buy Luke a life changing chair xx the carbon fibre chair is a third of the weight of his NHS chair ( we thought it was a half, but were corrected today). I was struggling to lift the chair in and out of the car and was having to push Luke everywhere, so it was restricting us to only going out when Luke's Dad wasn't at work. We have just called into a shop on the way back from picking up the chair and already we can see it's going to make an amazing difference to Luke's independence. We can't thank Dom and Victoria enough for nominating us, and the rest of the contributors and decision makers for supporting us. Thank you so much xx

From our January Donation to Baby Bibek (Renamed Jesse), we had this from Mary

"Just wanted to say a personal thank you for this amazing 501 group. Little Jesse arrived just 5 weeks ago and very unexpected. He was so sick we (Cat and I live in India and both pediatricians) thought it was unlikely he would survive. On day 3 a spark of life returned to him and he began to suck and feed from a bottle. From there he has gone strength to strength. Jesse has cerebral palsy from being born not breathing with limited access to health care. He has very painful spasms and is most likely blind. He was intentionally starved and weighed the same weight as a newborn. This little boy is a superhero for surviving all of this trauma and still wanting to try and give us a smile. Thank you SO much for donating the money for him. We had nothing in the house and immediately needed to buy nappies, milk powder and bottles, clothes and baby blankets plus the medicines to help him survive. We have all fallen in love with him in our household and gets cuddles 24/7"
